Reviewing
The typescripts submitted to the editor’s board are subjected to independent, just, and unbiased reviewing targeted at objective evaluation of scholarly article content, stating its relevance to the editor’s requirements. The articles shall be accepted for publishing only if they reflect the current state of the investigated area, contain new findings of research, and contribute to solving of topical problems and tasks in linguistics and literary studies.
To enhance the quality of reviewing, independent specialists are engaged to expertise in the area. They submit e-version of their expertise.
The specialists affiliated in the same institution as the author of the article cannot be appointed the reviewers of the article.

Reviewing procedure
1. The author sends the article that complies with the policy of the collection of scholarly articles «Studia Philologica» to the editor’s board.
2. The editor’s board checks the article for plagiarism with the special software.
3. The chief editor appoints two independent experts for reviewing the article in the special scholarly area. The reviewing shall be carried out within14 days.
4. The reviewer shall fill in the reviewer’s form to state the recommendations concerning the content of the article.
5. The reviewer’s expertise shall be sent to the author of the article to their e-mail address.
6. If the expertise requires further revision of the article, the author should send the improved text within a month.
7. The revised article shall be returned to the reviewer for the final evaluation. If the reviewer’s and editor’s conclusions be positive, the article is accepted for publishing.

Using artificial intelligence in research

Large Language Models (LLMs), like ChatGPT, do not meet our authorship requirements. The attribution of authorship carries a responsibility for the paper that cannot be adequately applied to LLMs. The use of an LLM in research should be appropriately documented in the Methods section of the manuscript, or in a suitable alternative part if a Methods section is not available.

Open access policy
Personal names and e-mail addresses of the users of the site of this journal shall be used only for the internal purposes of this journal; they shall not be shared and passed to third parties.
The collection of scholarly articles «Studia Philologica» practices the policy of quick access to the published materials, maintaining the principles of free sharing of scientific information and global exchange of knowledge for general progress of the society.
